Massport Fueling System Removal
CommTank was awarded a bid to remove and dispose of two 10,000-gallon aboveground storage tanks and the components of the aircraft fuel system for Hanscom Hangar 10.
This project included the tank removal of two 10,000-gallon storage tanks used to store Jet A fuel. The fuel filters, fuel lines, and pumps were also removed and taken to a certified recycling facility. A crane and two flat bed trailers were used to remove the fuel tanks from the cement pad where they had been installed. A cement wall and fencing were also taken down as part of the fuel system removal.
